Default CR-V Steering Rack

Whats up guys, I was just wondering if anyone knew if the 99 CR-V (First gen) steering rack mounts and connects nicely with the ek civics? Just the steering column to rack. (i will be using the CR-V sub frame)

Why am i asking? remember when i joined and asked about the AWD swap? Hehe!

Anyways, i know the whole front suspension is a "direct" (loosely) swap but i am just unsure about the steering rack.

I know the CR-V has a longer pinion shaft than the EK but...

Just trying to get all the eggs in one basket. I think this is year 3 of planning lol
