Default Got a autoX coming up, gotta get the "hulkbuster" ready..

I have an autoX coming up this weekend, gotta make sure everything is up to par so I can be competitive. It sucks that I am in SM (street modified) though. They actually consider my motor and "engine swap". WTF!? Anyway, got have my Azenis heat cycled and poly bushings lubed (I hate it when she squeaks!) and cooler filled with H20. This is the first time I have had my car back on the course in like 4-5 months I'm probably gonna be rusty!

A while back I bought some shitty ass ebay coilovers, then I got a friend who can cut tanabe springs to any lbs. rate you need. I have 825lbs. in the front and 985lbs in the rear. I didn't want to go with a 1000 lbs. because I have a friends who has 1000 lbs and his car is too damned twitchy. I have the apexi world sport exhaust, so there is no room for a rear sway on my car. So I have to compensate for the inability to have one with a high ass spring rate, but the KYB AGX struts work magically with the springs and with the a decent feint ("scandinavian flick" another useless driving term) the car will rotate quite nicely. On the street I run Hankook RS2's (205/45/16's) and I also have a set of racing wheel's (no name) that I run my Azenis 615's (205/14's). It's a reallu good set up for track events because in a high speed sweeper you can feel the car start to act like it's coming around but the second it does all you have to do is go hard into the throttle. I have Neuspeed front and rear upper tie bars, and ebay (cheap ass) lower tie bars on the front and rear as well. I didn't think that they would help but the acutually did make a slight bit of difference. I also have an ITR (USDM) front sway. I guess the other thing that puts me into SM is the ZEX cam (stage 1). And then after that all I have is I/H/E. The DX seat was starting to come apart on the left side so I bought a Del Sol seat as well, then I bought a 4 point seat belt harness. You can properly gage where you need and want to be if your vision is hindered due to you rolling around in your seat. Damn that was a long post, SORRY!

haha SM is way too competitive haha

good luck though

why are you running such stiff rates... your way underdampened with your shocks.. haha and why do you run rs2s as street tire... its just as good as your azenis haha

This is a pick of my car before the knock off spoon lip exploded on a high speed chicane at a local track day. I also no longer have the windshield banned either.
This is a pic of my big ass apexi world sport exhaust, this is the reason I have no rear sway bar, I once bolted it up and as I was competing in an auto X when I heard it was slamming into the entrance of the muffler and could quite possibly put a hole in it, so I decided to take it off and go with some stiff ass springs
