Stock 85 300ZX does a 16.4 1/4 mile according to
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html
and the turbo does mid 15s.

From what i understand it puts out nearly 170hp and weighs only 2668lbs. Older (read: 80s) cars are typically LIGHTER than modern cars. Either something is wrong with his car, the driver, or you're pulling my leg here.

Most people can't drive. I even ran equal with a Lexus RX once with my Concerto (I/H/E d15b2 with stock short tranny). I don't know my ET due to the lack of dragstrips in this country, but my best 0-60 on my car was 9.54 seconds. I always assumed a brand new €60k upmarket car would be quicker than my little hand-me-down.

It was probably a RX300 : http://www.autoweek.nl/carbasedata.p...28571&cache=no

If not, the driver was even more of a douchbag.
