Default Tool Review Tuesday, 06: Grizzly Carbide Burrs

Beaver Built: Tool Review Tuesday, 06: Grizzly 8-piece Single Cut, 1/4" Shank Carbide Burr Set

Overall, they are pretty decent. They aren't for head porting, but they work super well for oil pump porting.

Here's a link showing how I used them to port an oil pump:

Beaver Built: What does one do with a clean workbench?

If you can find a similar set, since Grizzly doesn't seem to carry the good 1/4" shank ones anymore, it is a cheap, versatile way to remove aluminum in a hurry with a decent surface finish, provided you have a tool with enough torque to use them. Dremels need not apply. heh

How much did you pay for this set? I also want to buy one similar to it but I hesitate.
