My reason for buying the kit was because i did not want to peice together a kit. Alot of people state that the ebay cast maini will last. When things would break i would replace with known parts. but so far so good ok lets get into the review now.

the kit came in a super big ass box haha with 10000 staples took some time to open the box but once i did every thing came in a setting set and place/ packed in styrofoam so their was no loose pieces banging or scratching any thing wich was nice. the kit came with about 6 extra couplings and about 5 extra clamp bands, two extra intercooler piping i think was for a b16 kit.

the kit was missing the 4 bolts that connect the turbo to the exhaust mani fold well it came with them but the studs were the wrong size never the less a simple fix went to ace hardware and got some heat treated bolts and studs $4 bucks i also changed out the pot metal vaccuum nipples that go on the turbo and waste gate for some brass fittings for $6 now my kit was complete.

what i did to make the kit a lil better was gasket match every thing and but tail 4layer steal gaskets for the kit, the turbo mani was gasket matched to the block and the turbo i also polished the inside of the turbo mani since it was cast for a smoother flow.

the only thing i had to to with the turbo kit for the install was cut up the front radiatior support a lil and grind a lil off where the inter cooler hose goes from the IC in the front of the car.

honestly these parts are not bad the material can take a slight beating the welds looked nice and even i think the cheapest part was the boost controller and the vacuum nipples, besides that i do like the kit and when i had any problems with the kit god speed answered the phone (direct line) every time and would have replaced any thing thats with my 90 warrantee up wich was cool to know.

a few recomendations i would get a oil swanch plate also some brackets to mount the front mount. have your injectors ready and a flat filter because the one they gave with the kit is to large so a flat one if your going to even have a filter on it. oh almost for got the dump tube doesnt line up but the kit comes with two extra dump tube brackets so all you have to do is weld a pipe to it and your good to go.

how ive been running the kit:

its on my stock d16y7 commute to work daily 52miles their and back home boosting 11lbs with 550cc injectors so I'd say I put any where from 6500-10,000 miles on this kit so far. i do have a race motor bully built check my build thread block built and head built but im not going to lie this turbo kit on the y7 has some punch and a nice kick ive beat 5.7 liter trans am from a dig by 5 cars kills mustangs left and right eats g35's 350z any average k series honda that came with a k series. bottom line i put about $50 bucks max in this kit to make it work and complete that puts this kit at about $700 not including things to run turbo ecu jumper injectors ect.

ive had this kit for about 6-7 months and beat and boost and hit about 130mph at any given time because i live in the country long stretch of road so either going to or coming home from work ill get it up their.

i do think this kit it worth a shot if your going to boost it in the zone that im boosting it i dont know if this thing will boost 15 25 30psi what ever psi shit might not last long with all that boost but if your looking for a lil more power for your stock d its perfect starter to get into turbo set up for your honda being a real complete kit. and a pretty clean set up trust me i seen some ghetto ass turbo kits out their. and ther all ways saying damn yours is clean

i reach full boost about 3600 rpm all the way up till 7000rpm and it keeps pulling i need better brakes now

pleas let me know if you have any questions or concerns ect. i have tones of more pics and specs of the turbo ill prob re edit this information and add more specs ive been lazy lol so i finally got on it and sorry for grammer just wanted to get this done.

thanks for reading i also have some you tubes of this thing in action.

I don't think I'm overlooking it, did you mention what you did for tuning? And do you have any idea what kind of hp/tq/psi you make?

Bump! for that last question.

What did you do for tuning? And hp/tq/psi?

Nice sounding dd, would like to see some pics of it installed.
Were you able to keep your a/c and p/s with the godspeed kit?

I have been looking at that kit almost every day for a month, my birthday was last week and turning 30 i feel like i owe it to myself to finally go forced induction.

*did own a 1g eclipse for about a year that was ff turbo, but never really got into modding it just used for a dd to work.

I got the kit before I knew a d series engine was a piece if shit I was going
To sell the car then I said fug it let me
eBay turbo this bi ouch before I get rid of it and make like 270whp if it blows fuck it Bough the kit then what do you kno started to
Read up then was like oh he'll no. This sh!t can only handle 220 before it blows appart that's when I was like ok what the hell do I need for this damn engine to work. So gathered parts list then went to work after I bough another engine and transmission for 400 d16y8 then I sold the sensors and basically got my engine and trans for $100.

It Makes 196whp and 137wtq @8psi most I boosted was 12psi but took off the boost controller and did turbo to waste gate set up so it's always about 7-8psi full boost hits about 3700rpm I'll see if I can find my dyno graph and I like the kit I honestly was surprised by it and I have about 14k or a Lil more give or take on the kit already. Using dark side 550 changing to ID 1200cc for meth on my race motor. All and all I love this kit for the price and would recommend it to some one who is just learning turbo set up and just want a Lil more power and not trying to boost crazy like I said IVE ONLY BOOSTED THIS KIT TO 12PSI SO FAR UP THAT LEVEL IT'S BEEN A GOOD TURBO FOR A DD ABOVE THAT I I HAVE NO COMMENT. Again nice cheap so far reliable budget turbo only things I had to
Change out was a few bolts and gaskets because i didnt trust the material. Sorry for grammar or mis spells I'm at work on a cracked cell phone screen will edit when I get home.

Put up the specs I Dnt wanna go crazy with tuning because that was on my stock d16y7 motor that had 188k and compression was 180-180-180-130 still placed the turbo on only because i have mu race motor was going to boost this till it
Took a shit.
I pulled my race motor about a month or so ago cali legal knows why haha but any who race motor will go back in in two- three weeks latest

Then I will be rebuilding this stock d16y7 for some boost aswell so I'll have two dope motor.

Honestly when boost kicked it fucking
Pulled i beat a ls1 firebird a few days ago it Had basic bolt ons but I beat it by 4cars and was still pulling I won 3 of 3 from a dig. I don't think it's a/c compatible I think the a/c compatible ones the down pipe are on the other are on the other side and you have to notch the block a Lil to get the DP to fit for a 3". I'll take some pics of that area in a bit to give you a better understanding of what's going on in that area.

A question I just got asked:

Btw how many miles have you put on the kit now and how do you like it so far? Any weak links in the kit? (like wastegate, bov, oil lines, turbo) what's the goods and bads? Would you recommend it to anyone? (sorry for all the questions lol I'm just trying to get as much input on the kit as possible because I'm really thinking about buying it)[/QUOTE]

every thing worked damn near perfect I just had to buy 4 bolts and nuts with washers for the turbo the mount to the turbo mani. I changed all the gaskets to tail gaskets also the dump tube did not fit but
Easy fix it comes with like four different brackets so a muffler shop and $15 bucks takes care of that all the lines were braided steal good quality in bent everything came packaged super nice in foam and it's own box no bent fins on inter cooler or nothing I do recommend buying if a/c isn't a major deal. But I've only boosted to 12psi at about 12-14,000 miles on engine so far so good. I think to make it ac compatible need a different shaped down pipe and ac compatable turbo mani. eBay or fab it up.
