Thumbs up RCautoworks No Slop Shift Linkage

Ok guys i know there is already a review for this on the site but i would like to share my experience and videos. First, a little background on the car. 1991 Civic Si 200k on chassis, 4k on Synchrotech Si trans, exedy clutch and flywheel. Since ive owned the car ive always wanted this mod as my shifter has always been sloppy. I started with ES shifter bushings, better but still sloppy. Next I installed a B&M dual bend short shifter, again it helped but still not satisfied. I finally found a spare linkage, ordered the no slop linkage and sent it out. Let me start by saying the customer service at RC is nothing short of excellence. I must have asked 1,000,000 questions before i even bought the thing and every time there was a response in no time at all. There was a delay in getting the linkage back to me due to the fact the first joint welded in was defective, and I had to wait for another shipment of joints. This was not the fault of RC and they kept me updated on the status of the linkage at all times.

Now onto the linkage. I installed it today and the quality of the product is great, and it feels AMAZING! Zero slop, and now I can actually feel the short throw of my B&M and the gear engagement is positive. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to have a smooth shift feel, especially my fellow 4th gen owners, or high mileage cars. I took a few videos, please disregard the sound in the first video its out of sync and skips parts as my phone is jacked up. Mods in both videos are the same: B&M Dual Bend, ES Shifter Bushings, PWJDM 500g Weighted Knob. The only thing i changed was the linkage, so here you go:

Definetely looks like a big difference, but is that difference really worth anything?? I dont really mind that side to side play, doesnt affect anything does it?

It matters to me. The feeling in real life vs. Seeing footage is like night and day. I hate anything in my car being sloppy. Before it would feel loose and kind of like it wasnt all the way in gear. Now the shifts are postice as well as engagement. Everything is crisp and feels as it should.

Meh I don't mind the sloppy linkage in mine. Doesn't effect anything. What I'm more concerned about is the fact I have to slam it in gear just about every time I shift.

Lol well it bothers me and after driving it more than around the block I absolutely love it! My shifter used to rattle when I coasted to slow down in gear now it is silent

Thanks for the review, we always love to see feedback from customers. The video was really well done and it shows how the product works, we'll be using this in the future to show customers exactly how it reduces the play. Thanks again

so, I'm guessing you would still recommend doing the energy suspension bushing first....right?
