Single click, no crank, fuel pump priming, jumping solenoid = no turn
As stated. Stopped for gas in wifemobile (b7 92 4 door) and it won't start back up. Won't jump. Normal startup priming noises, single click from near hood release, no crank.
Jumped solenoid from starter to battery positive, no spinning.
After replacing the ps pump and alternator just to find the noise was a seized timing belt tensioner, I'm past just going and buying parts and I need to be a little more methodical w diagnosing.
Am I correct to assume the click is just normal relay sounds and the jumped solenoid says bad starter?
Haven't tried banging on it, haven't tried a push start yet....waiting for aaa tow as we speak.
