Default my issue is obd2b to obd2a ecu?

I have converted my 99 civic dx to manual transmission, but I have a issue with the ecu they don't work since its from a different year and my wire harnesss was cut from the donor car. should I buy a jumper for it or new ecu?
how's the drivability with the auto ecu should I replace it?.

So your car is auto? If itís auto keep the same ECU obd2b no sense In converting to obd2a if the car is stock.. most people buy jumper to obd1 for tuning purposes
