Question Need Help D16 to B20

I bought a 95 Integra to drive to work (which has a SOHC Non-vtec civic motor swap in it) all while fixing up for my sons 16th b'day. On my way to work TB broke and screwed the head up on it and I can not find head replacement for it but I have found a B20B4 full motor. How hard of a swap would this be and what all am I required to get to do so? I'm new at this swap stuff but not a complete idiot just partial!!!

mod to fit usually on the harness and use the ecu from a b18 non vtec that is chipped to suit the engine for best results.

Yes you will need the Ecu for the motor or get an like po6 and have it chipped and tuned.

You can reuse the engine harness from the integra and will plug and depending on year of motor.

p06 is better than the p74/pr4...but i would not use the stock ecu since the chipped ones can rev a little higher and really wake that engine up when matched to the b18 intake manifold (since the b20 one may not clear the hood! depending on year afaik).

just to be on the right page. I will need to purchase the B20b4 full motor, ECU & Tranny because the SOHC D series components will not work only the wiring harness. Correct?

It would help to know where in the world you are.

Some countries have some funnny wiring harnesses

For the most part, if it is a true OBD1 overall, no wire misshaps, the b20 will drop right in wiring wise as long as the b20's harness is also OBD1.

there are a few adjsutments based on what domestic market the vehicle is from and where the motor is from.

Physically, you will need the motor, tranny, a bracket or two for the mounts (mounts themselves should work), axles, intermediate if its not a short/long pair, fuel fitting adapter for fuel line to rail possibly, and possibly a re-pin on driver side harness to dash plug.

oh, so USDM.

just find a b16 swap guide for your year of the civic. the b20 will need an LS intake manifold (b20 intake manifold too damn tall).

There are quite a few small annoying things that need to be addressed with a B swap. Browse through the b16/b18 LS guides. anything you find for nonvtec B18 will transfer. The blocks between the nonvtec LS 1.8's and the B20's are the same, minus the b20's bigger bore
