Default Need your recommedation...complete bearing, headgasket, piston, rods....

Thinking of building/refresh this motor. What is the simplest rod and piston combo that will keep between 9.5-10.5 ratio for 10 psi of boost without tons of block or head mods. This is a reliable daily driver.

Yes, DOHC ZC I have never built an engine. Many thread indicated low compression with various D series pistons and rods. i wuld like to keep it at 9.5 with 9-10 psi on modified jackson sc and smaller pulley tuned with demon. Considering:

SRP, Weisco or Endyn pistons
H beam rods with no block mod or little
ARP head studs for Doge Neon ( from memory)
OEM head gasket

For non-aftercooled SC, I wouldn't recommend going too high of static compression as you won't have a means of cooling the cylinder charge temps.

You link all the grounds, then wire each solenoid into the spark plug wires, that way they hit sequentially as the engine fires. This creates what I like to call asphalt shattering VTEC.

I'm turbod not supercharged but my bottom end consists of wiseco pistons, eagle h beams with the arp bolts (had to notch the block and the girdle), king race rod bearings, arp head studs, and cometic headgasket
