Default What gearbox for turbo

Hey, need some info for the best choice of gearbox for my D16Z5 turbo engine.

I searched a bit and I understood that have to be S40 cause of the metal forks, which is the reason mine is broken.

There are a lot diff boxes so need to know what will be the best for me due to the turbo setup - 200 hp.

Oem 4.43fd in your gearbox(3-4 dohc gears) + 0.77/0.75/0.702 fifth, depending on desired cruising rpms. This combo works just great @~200, for both street and strip. Or just the fd if it's race only app.

There is more that goes into gearing choices than on thinks.

Tire diameter vs. final drive it the first step, then decide on gears and spacing of the shifts.

Also the ratios can be to close and causing excessive shifts per lap. slowing the overall lap time. B going from a GSR trans to a LS trans + FD combo, six less shifts needed per lap...which resulted in a new track/class record on a "green" track surface.

2015 SCCA FProd (at Daytona) Ruck Box is the bench right now.
