Default Civic 97 heater

It's getting cold where I live and my header isn't working . I get slightly warm air but not hot like it should . Could it be the heater core or valve thats stuck? Or might I have air in the coolant ?

OEM T-stat and bleed coolant properly (with temp inside set to hot).

Also low coolant can cause your problem as well. Where was the needle on the temp gauge?

T-stat stud open or missing.
Heater core clog up or cable broke, or heater door jam close.

I'm going to try and bleed the coolant to see if that works . And the needle on temp gauge works fine .

I already ordered a new heater core and heater valve so I'll see if the old one was clogged up
