Default Exhaust fitment question

I have a 91 CRX dx and I have Y7 with a d16z6 OEM 4-2-1 header, that connects to my stock cat, and then out to the muffler

The header is causing the rest of my exhaust to sit low and to the driver side of the tunnel, low enough for it to scrape on speed bumps, even though my car is not really low.

Anyone else had this problem or suggestions?

Maybe try the A6 header and see if it keeps it higher. Im only suggesting this because it was made for that car, no clue if they are any different in height or design.

Is the header scraping? If it's just the exhaust, you could try adjusting the exhaust hangers to try get it tucked up more.

The header is not scrapping, it's the catalytic converter and resonator scrapping because the header points the exhaust far toward the driver side of the car and low almost out of the tunnel

ebay header hang low.
If you truly want to fix it. Then heat up the bottom part and bend it up.
I had the same problem, My cat is flat on the bottom right now. When i installed the turbo i pointed my downpipe up some so it clears the bumps now.

Are you modding the exhaust your self? Get under and see if you can push the exhaust higher, if you can, you can either do what xile6 said, or shorten up the hangers.

I'll end up having to heat and bend the header, the rubber holding the exhaust up is stretched tight because it's so far out so I can't shorten the hangers.

Ok so say the hanger is 3" long, would happen if you cut it 1"? Or are the rubber hangers that trashed?
