Default Not a D-series, but it's turbo...

so i finally got some runs on my 1992 cx hatch.

its got an lsvtec with 10:1 compression, and a twisted ram ebay turbo kit. 9-10 psi, on a basemap i moddified, .75* retard per 1 psi, 11.4 afr in boost.

here are some times. 85*F - 90*F
[email protected] 2.32-60ft
[email protected] 2.20-60ft
[email protected] 2.18-60ft

ebay xspower t3/t4 turbo, they say its a 57 trim, but when i measured the compressor wheel with a good set of calipers it was actually a 46 trim. powercoated the comp housing hi-temp black.

wheels are 15x6.5" konig heliums with 195/50/15 toyo proxes4's. and stock cx suspension.

they come out of the hole off boost at 4000 ok, but as soon as vtec hits at 4750, they start to spin, and spin most of second. but i think they grip pretty well for a street tire. i think the stock suspension is killing me more, the car lifts and squats too easy thus way to much weight transfer to the back wheels.

sorry i havent been on here in a while. i went to running 12 psi and then upped it to 15 psi, where it is staying for now. we have a few guesses that the car might trap in the 120s or close to it.

here is a vid of my hatch vs an 11.88 srt4(camera car) and an 11.99 integra. vid was taped in mexico.

your car should be damn close to 120mph but i would say it will stay around the same e.t. Get some tires and see what you can do. Remember a basic rule of thumb is what ever you take off you 60' you will double at the end of the track. So if you went 12.8x witha 2.30 60' then you should go 12.20 with a 2.0 60' remember if you do start hooking better your traps will start coming down too. I would guess that with slicks you would go a 2.0-2.1 60 to a 12.30-12.40 At 118 or so.

you should be faster(i think), you 60' sucks, but then again who am i to judge my car is slow. but in comapision a stock d16 w/ a t25 will hit 13s. i would think a ls-v-atack turbo would do a bit better than 1/4 to 1/2 sec faster than a stock motor w/ a junkyard kit.

but either way congrats and nice times, hopfully i will be getting there soon

I have heard decent things about the blur mani. Its a actual decent unit that those cheap fuckers make but it has gotten way to pricey. Nice times though
