Lightbulb **NOT FIXED** Hunting down a short in my dash/interior harness

Hi my parking lights/dash lights quit working, they keep blowing the #8 fuse. taking out the bulbs of the corner lights, and unplugging the 2 plugs in the rear going to the brake light assemblies back there still blew the fuse. any thoughts on where this short could be happening? When turning the headlight switch, the front lights and rear lights come on for a split seconds and then the fuse blows..

***license plate circuit was blowing the fuse. gonna wire in an LED strip and call it a day***

welp, i thought it was fixed, not anymore. something else is blowing it......i think i need all new plugs in the back.

Could be any number of places...hard to say with any certainty.

Do you have a FSM for your vehicle? If no, you’ll want to find one so you can start isolating parts of the circuit.

Are you running anything aftermarket off your light circuit? Such as a head unit that dims when your lights are switched on?
