Default Swapping a y7 to a y8

So I'm new to the honda scene, I have the whole y8 engine with harness and ECU, can I just straight swap it or is there anything else I'm going to have to do? Anything to change for the vtec to work?

You'll need to wire VTEC. May be a touch more complicated on OBD2 **shrug** Otherwise, pretty basic plug and play swap.
