turbo on my d16 v1
Hi guys, ive got a 2005 honda civic sport, i live in briton so the engine code is d16 v1. i want to push for 270bhp and a good bit of torque. what engine upgrades will i need to do? ie, pistons, valve springs, conrods etc.
also ive got a straight through 3 inch, upgraded 4-1 inlet manifold and omex engine managment. the turbo kit can produce upto 350 bhp.
please please help me!!

You can usually add another 100 to 120 hp on a stock motor. so if your 120 BHP now that would land you around 240 bhp, some guys try and push it further, a great tune will go along way to keeping the motor together. to answer your question all you need to change is rods and pistons to run higher numbers safely.
