Default Running rich

Ok drove my hatch toady at about 5psi. The car has a 12:1 fmu in it for managamnet for now. It seems to be running rich as hell, its also hard to start when cold. I have to crank it over about 10 times before it stays running. Will a fuel regulator help the running rich part? Or should I just get a 10:1 fmu? Any suggestions on making it start better?

the fmu only adds fuel pressure when it sees boost.

So the 12:1 fmu should be fine then.
