Default Quick JRSC Question

I just purchased a custom made S-tube for my JRSC. I was wondering, when I take the old one off and bolt the new one on, do I need some sort of sealant? Hondabond?

For anyone that's interested, I can throw pictures up.

It shoud have a gasket of some sorts.

If you can't get or make a gasket, silicon rubber will do, but be very careful not to block any air passages to control systems.

mine has a gasket that stays on the blower side but a thin layer of gasket maker would prevent any possible leaks

I have only ever used Permatex Ultra Grey for all my blower/manifold, S-tube/blower, bypass valve/manifold seals/interfaces, and I've never had any leaks of any sort.

Where'd ya buy the S tube? Pics!!!
