well after i got the car back and running and wired all back up it will idle fine but when i start to drive it it will hesitate and damn near fall on its face if i dont let off the gas and then it will go. have no idea what would cause this. changed to a new tank of gas. havent changed cap and rotor but it all looks good. wire are a bit old but have new plugs. what would cause this.
My buddies boosted GSR was doing this and it ended up being something in the dizzy. I can't remember which part it was though. I would check timing and then test your dizzy.
Did you check them with a multi-meter? I'm not sure how the tps could affect your issue unless you've messed with it previously. Also, what are you tuned on? Have you checked your tune?
I had a problem like that on a stock del sol turned out to be a bad o2 sensor. It jsut randomly did it one day then everythign was fine then a few months later it was doing it all the time. So if your running one check that
i have tried to do the tps reading but cant get a good connection. should i try aligator clips or should i just look for the pin at the ecu? do you have any info on doing/testing tps?
when my stock crx was doing this it ended up being a fucked up ignitor in the dizzy. it did that for a couple of days then all the sudden stoped running
havent checked tune. tuner wanted me to check this out before he touched it again. asshat. and i dont think it would be the problem. havent been home to check it. imo i think it needs a new tune. been sitting for a while and changed things around a bit. so its def time for a new tune. working on civic's this weekend starting tonight. will update after work.
well i swapped tps and first it would start but would cut right off. took tb back off set voltage to a little less than .4 at closed and at open its reads 4.2 My voltage reader only reads 0.0v i need a voltage meter that reads 0.00. havent tried to start it since i reset the voltage got cold and had work and time read 3am
