Default break in ?

Ok i got the car done and ready to run.My ? is should i breakit in on dyno or drive it for ?what amount of miles.

I want to hear every 1's thoughts on this no doubt!!

on the dyno.
this way you can moniter the afr's to properly break it in.
thats how my car was broke in.
but everyone has a different prefference.

i've always tried to seat the rings while it was n/a if possible... if not viable then deff do it on a dyno as stated above

use regular oil. warm up the motor, induce load, high load (not rpm) let engine decel on its own, 3 or 4 more times, change oil, repeat. *compression test* use the oil of your choice

motor is broken in within the first 10 miles.......breaking in only consists of seating the rings ....as long as you have good a/f then just break in on your own....


start motor warm up at 3k rpm turn off
check for leaks
start up drive do a pull in second to say 5k let off gas and let the motor slow you down to say 2k repet in third gear just dont let the motor sit at one rpm always keep the rpms flucting
get hom turn off motor drain oil /filter
fill with 10w30
drive for 500 mi change oil
then ur good can change at 500 once more if you like
