Yes it will work fine, you will have to wire up Vtec though yourself.. Thats if you are talking about JDM 15bvtec..

It will run alot better if you get the correct wireing harnest and ecu

?? It wont any different. It just needs to be wired for Vtec w/out spending 100 dollars on uneeded harness if he already has one..

ok, i dunno if they did it on the models past the year of 92, but the 92 civic has the wire coming from the ecu to the passenger side connector in the engine bay... (orange/blue and orange/white or something like that) if thats the case, all you need to do is run wires from those connectors to the solenoid and oil pressure sensor. im gonna persoanlly get rid of that oil pressure sensor to make room for an autometer type guage... cause i keep the pressure check disabled in my ECU, but I leave the coolant temp check on... I find the oil pressure sensor un-necessary.... I dont rev up unless the engine is warm... to do otherwise is pretty stupid. =)
