Default Idle problems

i have a basicly stock d15b and it is idleing horrible...when i start the car the idle bounces around at 1500-2000rmps....then once it warms up and i stop at a light the idle completely drops almost stalling....does anyone know whats going on??...i need help asap...

iacv change it clean it whatever works.

may have a vacum leak, check all vacum pipes and gaskets around the inlet manifold area, on the inlet manifold gasket check for soot(black powder) around the gasket, if it has soot then its leaking there!!

if all else fails check for codes!!

you should check the codes FIRST after mess with idle screw. unplug the iacv while car is running and idleing like crap.....did it stop you still have a messed up iacv

does the idle fluctuate after reaching operating temp?

sounds like it still fluctuates after reaching temp....It still sounds kiinda like a vacuum leak or the IACV you put in wasn't new/clean or whatever...hmmm
