Default Out with the Y7 Intake, and some ?s

I am doing some serious upgrading to my 96DX Hatch. It has the 1.6 Non-Vtec D16Y7. I am installing a custom turbo kit and have the engine all apart right now. I"ve got a P06 ECU socketed and ready to go for crome, conversion harness, and an intake from a JDM Y7(just like Y8 auto). The intake has the blank space for the IACV, and the IACV is mounted on the TB and is 3 wire just like my Y7. Now for the OBD-1 coversion am I good to go or do I need to change something to have the IACV work? 2 wire IACV?

You need to run a 2-wire IACV for OBD1 ecus. The 3-wire won't work at all.

Can I bolt a OBD-1 IACV to my manifold if I drill/tap the holes? Or does it require some weird air passage inside the intake? I kinda like that fat plenun the Y8 Intake has.
