Default car running lean

any help would be appreciated

after i did some supercharger work in the car , it started running lean
now the car is back to stock so i can try to find the problem
everything is as per my knowledge fixed correctly except the manifold was fixed without a gasket but with rtv silicone and its a y8 manifold with the idle motor on it so i used a y7 throttle and just kept the other idle valve on place

the car is ok on idle and below 3000 rpm but above 3000 the narrow band gauge goes straight to lean and reads 20 .

the egt is fixed on the downpipe , i know its not the best place but the idea was to know the avarge temp on idle conditions and use it at a reference.
reads 450c driving on highway at 3500 rpm

so i changed the spark plugs which had a carbon ring (platnuim ),after one day of use the new spark plugs shows a carbon ring again Bkr6e

tested vacuum with a shop gauge which SEEMS there is no leak
my vacuum gauge reads 21
and my idle is stable
cleaned the injectors again and raised the fuel pressure to 55
fuel pressure doesn't drop with revving

hmmm the sparkplugs shows its rich but the gauge reads lean

any help

Are you saying that the engine ran lean after s/c work and you're now trying to fix it by removing the charger?

If your intention is to get it right now and then expect it to stay right once the forced aspiration is back in place, you may find yourself chasing your tail.

actually the car was running rich because of a bad ect sensor pigtail

changed the pigtail after removing the SC

now it says its lean
i know these gauges are not the best out there but the car lost alot of its power {i mean compared before the SC}
i dont think its a sc related damage as it was used less than 10 miles and very lightly

ecu is to dump for any self diagnostics so i pulled this data with warm engine and ac on

the car doesn't come with o2 sensor from mr.honda , this data was pulled by the ecu using a 3 to obd2 adapter and lanuch crp pro shop scanner

my o2 sensor is ebay gauge

today 1\4 tank for a 30 mile trip.......

lets forget the o2 sensor all together, the car just run like crap

air filter clean and good condition
fuel pump, fuel filter replaced recently, injectors cleaned but not tested , my testing machine require maintenance
spark-plugs new and gaped correctly ,wires less than a year old
fpr new
the distributor looks ok

btw its a y8 intake with the idle valve on the intake , i just left it there and the idle is controlled by the valve on the throttle body

its confusing the hell out of me

well, there's one problem, you left the IACV on the Y8 manifold.

unbolt the IACV, cut a piece of gasket material to block off the entire IACV, and bolt IACV back up.

Guarantee it helps

If you are using a 1/4 of a tank of fuel in 30 miles you are pig rich. Most likely from the 55 psi fuel pressure, or something else. Was the ecu tuned for the supercharger? Get a real wideband, that Ebay narrow band will do nothing but make your life hard.

yes i also suspect that since its the only new item on the car since i had to cut the old manifold for the supercharger

hahaha married with kids and car addicted and rich .....in your dreams .

only have access to launch scanner .

Anyway today went old school and just used a vacuum tester to set the car

for people who doesn't know you can set the ignition and fuel just using this gauge and check for other problems.

A must tool for a honda owner if you ask me

And even though i didn't buy the cheapest o2 gauge and read a lot of good reviews .did the same thing with the o2 sensor ....it doesn't work correctly

i know that all o2 sensors fail fast but not that fast

i think am better off with a 4 egt sensors and will cost the same as wideband at least i will have info on each cylinder .

so case closed intake plus a bad gauge .
thanks everyone

as for the car i still didn't decide for the turbo and the ecu , i have also anther track civic and a drag crown vic .

summer is coming and it will be to hot to do anything, so i will see what i can finish or start
