Default Crome Pro temp tuning

Guys, need some help with crome Pro tuning. Having issues with my idle getting leaner and leaner as I sit in traffic.

I went into the Advance tables in the crome gold tree and remove all the fuel adjustments for temp.

I tuned it to run an average AFR of 14.9 with an IAT of about 79 degrees. When I get into the car after work. No changes to the tune, at about 95 degrees outside car fully warmed up IAT of about 107 the car has a average AFR of about 15.2.

How is this possible? I always thought hotter air lead to richer mixture. For the same amount of air and fuel.

In traffic they will go up to 130 degrees, but rolling down open road that is about correct.

You didnt tune it.

If you remove temp adjustments and your car changes temps. It will run with the injector pulse you told it to.
So if there is less or more oxgyen then it will be richer or leaner.

If you wanna disable temp tables you need the readings when you tune it and your day to day temp readings to be the same.


Reason why some people dynon tune in th summer only to find out when winter comes there car runs like shit, because the tuner was able to adjust the colder offsets

I would think that you need to enter in an amount of trim for each IAT table instead of zeroing them out. The way, I see it, as they rise your tune is changing based on the values you have entered into the various IAT tables.

Is it possible that you may have ended up chasing you tail at some point? I've done it. I changed my maps when the ambient temps were different from when I initially tuned the car. It kind of threw things off. I just started over at that ambient temp and retuned the car.

I am not sure I understand what you guys are saying. I have 0 in every field that can adjust the fuel due to temp. I would think the AFR would move leaner in cool temps and richer in hot temps, but I am experiencing the opposite. The hotter the air gets the leaner the car gets.

Duh,
You have no adjustment for it.
So letss say you tune coolant at 200f and iat @ 100f
You got a 14.7 afr
Then it gets cold outsids and your iat is 50f
Now your air is cold and your getting more oxygen.
Should run leaner correct?
Well your o2 sensor says im going to adjust that for you.
And over shots and you now are rich or have a bounce.

You really need to fully tune the car.
If you in open loop. Then its only going to add the fuel you tell it to.
And should follow temps. Leaner for cool weather and richer for warm

I get what you are saying, and I am in open loop. As far as I know I have removed all the adjustment. The car will go lean sitting at an idle as the air temp rises.

it is quite a bit cooler this morning about 67f and the car is responding with leaner AFRs in the cool air temps everywhere but idle now. when I went back and looked at my actual logs from the other 2 days even though the day temps were different the actual IAT was pretty close. must have been the traffic blocking off some of the air flow that day.

It is making me think I have a FITV or IACV issue.
I do have some issues with idle speed and vacuum randomly changing one stop will idle at 850rpm and 20in hg the next time I will stop it will idle at 750 rpm and 18 in hg

it is not like I can't reset it, but I am game. why do say that? I am using the data logging to help me figure out why the mixture is not running well with the temp.
