Default Can you chip jdm obd1 auto p72 ecu?

Like the title says, is it possible to chip jdm obd1 auto p72 ecu. It has 4 plugs, so will i just use the plugs a,b,d and leave c? Looking forward to any helpful advice, thanks.

The latch chip is SMT so its a little more difficult if youre not experienced with SMT soldering.

Also can the obd1 jdm 4plug auto p72 ecu be converted to manual?
