Default AEM 2step rev limiter fireballs

Hi guys, I have show next week and I'm trying to set up the 2step rev limiter, I need it with fireballs for the show, but I can't make it happened... I set it to :
Always on
6000 ignition cut
7000 fuel cut
6025 ignition retard
7 mph or under
Anybody have any idea?

Setup antilag, but i dont know man. seems cheesy to me. Also i hope you dont have a cat. Also please post pic of said car that needs fire balls. im guessing crazy show car? if it looks oem at all id say skipp the fireballs

From the settings you posted, you have no idea how antilag works.

D series sleeved block for my sandrail.
I'm 40 years old and I have big garage, now starting to work on race cars, antill now I was working on K series engines, easier and cheaper here to mod D series engines.
Thank you guys for your welcome posts.
The car don't have cat , it's all free flow 3' , GT2871 turbo with 750cc RC injectors , full-race style turbo manifold. I also make them (if someone interesting. ) I would be happy to post some pictures, but the manager said that I need at least 10 posts.
So... Pictures later.

Yes HT will know. They never bash people for having a D series, or asking funny questions.

The resaon for push back is, this forum deals in function most times, this show stuff isnt covered here as much.

Is I felt this bash nicely, I'm member in HT since 2003 and never pushed back... I also sold 10 full-race style D series manifolds for some guy here... I always thinking to register to D-series forum, nice to know.
I have a lot to give from my experience to this forum...
Soon I will posts some pictures of my projects.

all youre attempting to do is dump raw fuel into the exhaust and igniting it. propane is easier and will save your engine. if youre that determined to do it, why not do a google search on how to properly set it up? or call aem and ask them how to "shoot flames"

Yeah; two step is just a limiter, you need antilag to blow fire balls. the propane trick is alot better for the engine. antilag isnt ideal and can cause issues. propane is the ideal was to get it and burns so clean too so no soot anywhere.

but also this forum is based on function over forum. so to 90% of us blowing fire balls will in no way make the car perform better so we are against it. and if not against it have no intentions on advising other to do so. There are alot of other sites thats are more show then go minded. they could help
im not telling you to leave im actualy trying to help. show questions ask there and go questions ask here. and you will habe all the answers you need with no bashing.

Call aem or google it. but dont google how to do it on a honda. an engine is an engine. Google how to make flames on any car and use the same ideas. what you have listed at the top is a twostep setup. thats not what your looking for. thats just launch conrol.
you need to retard timing and dumb burning fuel.

I'm against it also, the fire balls is just for business , to attract people to my section in the big show, this motor is made for tests and shows, nothing else, I have 8 motors d16 in my garage that is waiting for use.... Damage is low costs for me ��

To be short, in the antilag section of your tune parameters, add fuel and retard ignition timing for boost generation at standstill (the fireballs are a byproduct of this not the actual end goal for most people)

Set your activation RPM lower than your antilag rev limiter.

These settings are not going to be the same from car to car so it will take some trial before you get it dialed in.


EDIT: But to be honest, if the only reason you're doing this is for show, then the product I linked before would probably be much better at attracting attention. It works by adding a sparkplug to the exhaust and cutting the ignition to your engine to allow unburnt fuel to enter the tailpipe. This will most likely make much larger flames than the antilag launch control method.
