Default ecu Q

im getting ready to swap my y7 im for a y8 and i was wondering if i should do anything with the ecu? please help, new to hondas!

lots of info on this.
do a search here or on google.

here's one thing you have to do and basically the only major thing you have to do.

3 wire to 2 wire IACV conversion.

disregard pin A13 and swap pin A14 and Pin A12 .

you will have to also solder in new 2 wire connector to connect the 2 wire IACV . Just get it from the junk yard off a 5spd Y8 if it didnt come with your current Y8 manifold.

Y7 ecu p2e reads 3 wire IACV , so you will have to do this wire swap in order for it to be able to read a 2 wire IACV.

i heard i could just use a im from an automatic because the iacv mounts the same as my y7 regardless of trans

the p2p is the stock y8 ecu. you could also get a chipped p28 and tune
