my research so far tells me to chip the ecu, when i go manual i'll get a cel because the torque converter will be missing so there will be a conversion for the ecu i can do to make it manual.......(haven't found this writeup yet)

can anyone confirm??
phearable (sp?) says their chip kits are only for manual tranny's , will they still work for a manual.......maybe just a cel??

thanks again guys

Ya it may be worth it to chip it now and tune. To convert use this. PGMFI.ORG - Grassroots ECU Development - Library . AutoToManual I would just do it all when you do the manual swap.
