Default ecu plugs

hey guys couldnt find anything on this but can i change the obd2a plugs from my loom to obd1 plugs?? then use a odb1 ecu? i have two looms here one obd1 and one obd2a and instead of chopping them up i was thinking take them all apart and re pin each cable in the right locaion in a obd1 guise

all help appreciated

i dont wanna use a conversion harness cos its hard to place the ecu back in its original location
but im guessing you can right??

Ya you can do it just find pin outs for your ecu and the ecu you want to use. It is a pain and very time consuming not worth it in the end.
