Assuming it is the correct equipment for the right motor(s) then everything should be zeroed out. The cam isn't that aggressive.

i'm running a z6 crower stg. 3 on my d15 head. set base timing to 16*. play with the cam gear. try some advance. no real way to set it "properly" without a degree wheel.

IMO z6 rocker arm assembly is identical to d15b rocker arm assembly. shouldn't be any issues.

So anyone have thoughts about how I can rev a stock p08 to 8k? I would have thought the rev limiter would have kicked in even in neutral.

Why would I? Its a D15B! Plus the idle is nasty with a P28, or I havent let it run long enough with one to adjust itself. I really hate surging idles and the P08 idles perfectly.

wierd all of my d15b's idled fine with the p28 stock maps. i mean you are trying to idle a non factory cam, so you can't expcet perfect without a tune.

After market tach?I'm assuming you know how to tell it the ecu is chipped.Right?
Iv'e read that oem tach's aren't too accurate.

ehh i have a 59500 and my cam is set at 0. keep the cam at stock. no need to mess with cam timing.
