Nope. I have ran a obd1 ecu off a obdo dist but you get a code. One of the sensor wheels has less teeth. Changing the wave form. But the housings and all the parts inside are totally different.

Obd1 and obd2 dist are about the same 92-2000 a lot of the parts interchange.

The shaft sizes are different + you would have to space the sensor out more the wheel is bigger.

It probably could be donít but not cost effectively.

not worth it to try to stuff OBD-0 guts into a OBD-1 housing. The opposite way for SCCA ITA racing is possible, OBD-1 guts and wheel made to work inside a OBD-0 case.

There was only THREE people that could benefit from this in SCCA ITA racing. Two of them (Moser's) run under the King Motorsports banner and were DQ'd at 2008 ARRC. The 'tard, AJ Nealy, remember that name when watching VW TDI cup this fall/winter, was the only person I was trying to help. WE gave up. Get the clocking wrong and it is all for nothing.

Also the issue of TDC sensor, one be a rise and cut, the other being cut and fall.

Don't try to reinvent the wheel.......

i just wanted to wonder if it could be done to avoid having to chop up the A6 distributer to fit the Z6 head. just trying to make the install look a bit cleaner. how much modification does it take to make the A6 distributer fit the Z6 head? im trying to avoid the cost of going OBD-1 , even though i know most peopel recomend doing it. so far im in deeper than expected. all i need now is to solve me vtec solenoid problem , wait for head nolts to come in and find a timing belt cover so i can adjust teh ignition timing. anyone know if a
Z6 belt cover will fit a A6? or is there any other timing belt cover i can use?
