Default Vtec wiring confusion.

Iam still strugling getting my d15b to run properly. I got my new ecu from phearable.net and iam trying to get the vtec working. Right now I have the vtec solonoid wired to a4, and the other green sensor witch I thought was the pressure switch wired to d6 and the ground grounded. So when i start the car iam getting the check engine light and vtec is def not engaging. So i thought i would disable the vtec oil pressure switch but when i looked at what pins to cross it seems a4 and d6 should be wired together. Witch means my original wiring is wrong? My question is where do you wire the 1 wire vtec solonoid too?

to disable the vtec pressure switch you wire the signal wire into the vtec wire.

Well does this make any sense? I wire up my a4 and my d6 together than run those wires spliced together to this unit: http://img21.photobucket.com/albums/...ecsolenoid.jpg ?????
