Can i put a p28 Chipped on my d16y8 (acura 1.6el) whit the obd2 to obd1 conversion?? the only thing i got on my engine is :

Cold Air Intake
4-2-1 Headers
2 1/2 inch pipping exhaust

and also is there any benefit of doing this?? or you need a bigger setup to run this p28 cgipped ecu??

You'll be just fine running it, but this "chip" is a concern: Is it just a generic performance chip? If so you'll probably just run rich or something. You could squeeze a little added power or fuel economy if you got the P28 in and then dyno-tuned it to the motor and its slight modifications. This costs a few hundred dollars.
However, you will not see much benefit until you have something internally done, such as a more aggressive cam shaft or higher compression pistons.

It will run a lil better if the P28 is chipped with the y8 base map

BINGO DING DING DING. diff. engines have diff power bands. stay with the p28 OR sell the p28 for a cheaper ecu PO6 and have it chipped with the y8 map

Unless your doing the VTEC conversion yourself on the P06, it's most likely going to be cheaper to stay with the P28 you have. Just chip it and use a Y8 base map.

Arrogent?

No, I, like a lot of people on this site, don't have time for dumbasses that type like a cat with downs syndrome.
