You did upgrade to a 4 wire O2 Right?
What conversion harness did you use and are you positive all the connections are secure and correct? Usually you will use the 4 wires coming off of the conversion harness for the O2 sensor. The original 1 wire is not needed.

Cool

As long as you wired it right and you checked the different colors on the O2 sensor to be correct it shouldn' t throw a code.

Original Honda Plug----Ecu pin/Function-------BoschO2----Boomslang

Orange/Black ---------Heater (ECU A6) -------White-------Orange
Yellow/Black --------------12 Volt------------White---------Yellow
Green/White --------------Ground ------------Grey---------Grey
Grey(WHITE) ----------Signal (ECU D14) ------Black--------White wire
(thanks to 91 Demon Hatch)

Boomslang
White wire-Signal
Grey -O2 Ground
Orange -O2 Heater
Yellow -12V+
