1993 Del Sol SOHC non vtec D15 to vtec?
I have a 1993 Honda Del Sol with the SOHC non vtec D15 1.5L engine and I was looking to upgrade it, the first thing I wanted to do was convert it over to a vtec and I found a JDM 96-00 Honda Civic 1.5L SOHC 3 stage VTEC D15b cylinder head for $150, is this a good head and can this be used on my engine with any increase in power? I also plan on adding a header with a high flow catalytic converter and a cold air intake.
Thought's from the pro's here? I just dont wanna wast money if its not gonna make a difference in power
THANKS in advance

Not sure what area you are in but in Oklahoma a used D-Series head V-tec or not goes for $50-$75
If the head has work done or a cam I have seen them go for $100-$150
That being said for $262 you could find a complete junkyard engine likely.
I know my local yard would charge $150 for the complete block and $50 for the head.
I have also sold complete running D swaps for under $250 with the trans and ECU
My current setup I paid $700 for and it came with the following.
B20B from HMO
GSR Trans rebuilt by Humble in Tulsa
Ecu Tuned on Hondata
Full set of SI's (Rims)
and the complete 98 EK coupe it was in.
The engine has about 35k miles on it and the trans has less than 5k miles
