Default Y8 block/ Z6 head/intake in a 95 dx?

Hey guys. I just got a crazy deal on a wiseco/eagle 8.5:1 y8 block with a z6 head on it. I also have a complete z6 intake manifold at home. Will I be able to make these work correctly in my 95 dx or would it be worth it to locate a y8 head so I can use my stock d15b7 distributor?

if your dx 95 distributor is OEM honda and still working great, Id find a way to use it.

I do have a d16y8 head that was intended to do a vtec conversion during a manual swap on my civic, but that project has halted and wont be re-visited.

You can also opt to re-use the dx cylinder head, as it will bolt on just fine and perform quite okay. It does save you the hassle of wiring in vtec stuff but will require you buying head studs or bolts for a d16a6 (EX/SI civic/crx 88-91)
