Default Grinding seal groves out of a D15B2 crank

I know about the surface hardening on a Honda crank and the issues with grinding to refurbish. Here's my question. The bearing journals are in good shape, but the front and rear main seal surfaces are grooved from the seals. What is the best choice of action, grind these surfaces smooth or get seals with smaller ID's. We've used speedy sleeves, but get some weeping, so don't want to go that way.

On a side note, is there any aftermarket sources for cranks for the D15B2?

Just find another crank, much easier. D15B7 would be an easy source.

I would just offset the seal slightly more inward or outward so it doesnt ride in the groove.

Or install the speedysleeve with something like loctite to make sure it seals 100%

I've done this on a 22r crank pulley because of a groove/leak issue. No problems in 5 years now.

Maybe thats why my stupid 22R just keeps weeping from around the front seal/oil pump. Haha I did the seal twice!

I changed that too, because it looked like it was coming out from under the heads of the bolts. Haha, oh Yotas.

Then again its running on 3 cylinders so I think theres a little extra crank case pressure in there.
