Default a1 crank in my z6 block? help me.

my project is a z6 head and block with a1 crank rods and pistons.
the main question is , arent most d-series cranks the same?????
and if they are, shouldnt a z6 oil pump fit on the crank with no prblems?
i ask this because ive gotton mixed replies.
ive been told most d cranks are the same, and that the a1 crank is smaller in diameter than all other d cranks so the z6 oil pump wouldnt work.
any help would be great. :fairies:

I don't know about the snout where the oil pump rides...
but the bearings are the same for all d15-d16 motors.
