Default Fixed IM gasket, good for 3 days, then...

Fixed the leaking IM gasket 3 days ago, that cured the white steam, and the overheating. Well, today the shit began to overheat a little. So I look at the coolant, and a little is gone. I fill it up, do about an hours worth of driving, and it began again. It's also running a bit rough, and sounds like Subaru at times. I also know that somehow coolant is getting burned, because the white steam from the exhaust, which I stopped when replaced the IM gasket, but began again today. That, plus a code 10 and 16, is really having me ready to ditch the ZC.

that sounds more like a headgasket issue to me. white steam out the exhaust, overheating, misfireing... i'd put money on it. do a compression test as soon as you can.

Yup, try a compression test.

I like the sound of a Subaru boxer engine.

It sounds good when it's a WRX or Legacy, but not a CRX.

Also, the coolant is not mixing with oil. I'm gonna see when the next time it overheats is. If it happens sometime today, then fuck the ZC. I'm unsure if a just a ZC is worth the trouble.
