Default What's up with this intake manifold? Missing studs?

I took off the intake manifold and there are 3 holes in it that have nuts, on top, but there are 5 holes in the block....? Anytime know why? Or if it's ok? Maybe it's got some other intake manifold on it?

It does look like holes & studs are missing. Are there any markings on the manifold?

Only manifold that I know of that’s different is the DOHC ZC but from what I understand that has a completely different bolt pattern. Interested in the answer

Are you from the US?

All the DOHC ZC's i've worked on are the same (holes are tapped into the head, yet there's no holes in the intake manifold).

No idea why, but you're not alone

Yeah, wierd! Yes, I'm in Pennsylvania. Do you think it would be beneficial to drill those two holes and use studs? Lol

I wouldn't worry about it, a lot of trouble for the extra pain of having to undo another couple of nuts when you need to take the manifold off.
