Default D16A9 Exhaust Header

Hi Everybody from Argentina

I have a Civic EH9 D16A9.. I know so that there is a millon topics about SOHC Headers that no fit without modify in the DOHC head.

So my question is... Anyone tried B16A2 ( VTi ) header? will this fit pug and play?
I know is a B series Header but is also a DOHC Head 1.6L.

My question cause in Argentina we don´t have a lot a of people who can take the job of modify a new header they just want to sell you his own header ( bad quality ) or the one´s I Know who works excellent with the best quality will cost around u$d 720

So my idea is to import a Header and make the rest of the exhaust here in stainless metal around 2.25"

If anyone can suggest me a better idea im open to hear it.

B-series header will not fit. Port spacing is different.

You will have to port match most aftermarket headers to that engine

This is what it will look like, nothing a little carbide bit can't chew up.

The best thing to do is put the gasket up the the head and cut the gasket out around the ports, then take the gasket and place it on the header like the picture and trace it with a sharpie so you know where to grind.

I used a DC header and ground down the manifold to match it. I did nothing to the head. took me about 20 minutes.

You link all the grounds, then wire each solenoid into the spark plug wires, that way they hit sequentially as the engine fires. This creates what I like to call asphalt shattering VTEC.

What people do, is cut the header flange off, and then weld a D series flange onto the pipes. It works and I've seen some 11 second NA D series with setups like that. Pancho?

I used a B series header, cut the flange off and welded a DOHC ZC header flange on. The port spacing isn't equal on the B series, so the tubes needed to be pulled into alignment before welding.
