Default 185/65/14 on CRXwith DOHC ZC

Hi guys,

I just wanted to know your thoughts with tyres on a DOHC ZC with 185/65/14s?

I know that factory CRXs came out with 185/60/14 it's just that I like the tallness for more comfort and hopefully not throw out my rpms and fuel mileage?

Thanks guys Your expertise is much appreciated here down under

Your speedo will be accurate for once.

MPG will be the same, but the devices recording will be showing TRUE numbers and not inflated numbers, so while it will change, it will be correct for once.

Without seeing the tires I'd stick with the 185's

there are tire size calculators available online, find one.

I suggest the 185/65/14s

much more common size if tire hazard warranty is required for any reason, and much easier to match a pair of snow tires or something in the future

If you are looking to split the line between comfort and performance, I think you are probably going about it the wrong way. Crappy tires and hard springs = crappy performance. Decent tires and softer springs = decent performance.
