Pop valve cover off.
Stick pins in the holes.
Reset bottom end to top dead center.
Replace timing belt.

Can you provide instructions on how to wire all 4 vtec solenoids in parallel? I would like to hit vtec 4 times as hard, but I'm confused as to how the wiring configuration would look. Thanks

You link all the grounds, then wire each solenoid into the spark plug wires, that way they hit sequentially as the engine fires. This creates what I like to call asphalt shattering VTEC.

Timming is dead on you may have a bad sensor in your distributor

This! I've never gotten my zc timed correctly using the cam marks.

Using pins or even the OEM tools to hold the cams can still yield bad timing. I use a LED flashlight and shine it through the holes and line the cams up visually.

had so troubles with timing before, inner marks is want you want to align, UP marks will be off inside a little. how bad a timing should be to get TDC cel? if the cel is random - probably bad harness, sensor to rotor gap too big with dizzy bearing loose, dizzy seal leaking a lot of oil, or a bad sensor if you're getting it all the time.
I had a weird issue with cyp sensor - the contacts in harness to ECU connector were corroded 0_o

Take off the valve cover...it'll be the cam gear side of the retainer caps.
