Default d16a9 build questions?

hello I,m new and need some help.
Im planing to buy a civic hatchback 93 d16a9 and see if i can get more performance, but keep it as a daily driver but with some extra power to hit the track on weekends, I know is an obd1 p06 p29 ecu and can be tune.
where can I get some more aggressive cams, racing valve springs?
what pistons and rods can I use to raise compression?
do any d series header fits in to this head?
the thing is I have no idea what to do whit this old honda engine I like it but cant see to much potential, Im looking to beat d16z6 and y8,s at the track by doing 15 seconds 1/4 of mile here in my country its easy to beat d-series n/a they compete with few mods so 15 secs is a decent time here
thanks

Stock valvetrain is fine, it is good for up to 9k rpm.

For cams, I suggest colt cam tri flow or his race cams.

For high comp, just shave the head, the combustion chambers are pretty big. Shave a few thousands off and should get you to 10.0:1

D series headers have the correct bolt pattern but the port pattern is slighty off by a few mm and you should gasket match the header flange.

I would recommend b series adjustable cam gears as you can get them cheap, the intake index's the same but the exhaust is indexed slightly different...refer to the dohc zc specs parts mod list thread. Also will be able to adjust lsa which will help you at the track

Goodluck and there is lots of info on these, keep searching
D16a9 shouldn't have a problem beating z6's or y8's.

no, not all the time, but there is no need for aftermarket springs

looking in to bisimoto website they offer this:
level 1 d16a1/zc regrind
Best seller!! Offers a 15% improvement in power over factory, with slightly lopey idle, with emphasis on the 1700 to 5900 rpm range
what do you think ? I know bisi its a big name on aftermarket parts but do you have other suggestions?

Don't get bisi...

Colt cam triflows give you more power and torque throughout the whole powerband.

Post pics of car and motor!
