Default Changing brake fluid???

Just read my maintenence manual and it says I'm suppose to change the brake fluid. Is this job easy and do-able enough with just screws and wrenches??? Or is it best that I take it to the shop??? If it is do-able at home...Can anyone tell me the right way to do it??? Thanx.
