Quick question can you disable the immobiliser from the ECU ?

never done it, but supposedly you just break of the immobilizer daughter board inside the ecu.
then there's some trick to make the dummy light go out.

yes you can but i don't remember how. i have a friend who had a 96 civic with a 96 prelude engine. the problem with that year is that it's a wierd. it was the only year with the key imoblizer, and it was like ODB2a(i think) even the ecu was a weird code. it was like finding a needle in a haystack of needle.

he had to convert his ecu to run a P28 basemapping and ect. and he had to do something to his ecu to by pass it. fuck i'm gonna try to get a hold of him.
