Default HONDA CIVIC 92-95 Hatchback Back/side speaker Sealing???

Hey Guys

Anyone got any good DYI on now to seal the back/side speakers?

The speakers and the plastic grill the cover them have no sealing and thus the speaks don't work correctly...

I have 6.5" in there now and there's no base and they sound like crap..

My fronts witch are the same speaks but seals well in the front doors sound great!

Cheers

Luke

Where do you have the speakers mounted? On the rear side panels? If so you would have to seal off the whole panel. I have 6x9's in my hatch and no issues. Post up some pics.

not many options here.. i just installed my speakers in the same factory location. thats a big area in there and sealing it off would be pretty damn hard.

I did come across in my travels something that would help but they are rare and are true jdm they are almost like a tube subwoofer holder but are for the rear speakers of a hatch ive truly only seen them once in one of the forums i used to belong to but that would be an option or go the way of the DIY and build your own set up with plastic caulking and something to cut with (actually i might just do that) simple easy and relatively cheap from the home depot or lowes......

rear "fill" speakers don't need baffles.

if anything I'd put bass blockers on them.
