Default Removing headlights

MY sis got some halos for her 89 dx HB.Does the bumper need to come off to replace the lights? I ahve searched but I could not find a tech or how to. Looking in the manual it looks like the enter bumper needs to come off. True?

true.

there are 2 or 3 bolts that I'm pretty sure are inaccessible with the bumper on.

you should be able to remove the whole bumper assembly by popping out the bumper turn signals and removing the 10mm hex bolts underneath and removing the trim screws securing the bumper cover to the fener (inside wheel well). You might need to pop out the corner markers as well for bumper removal.

I've done it with the bumper on, just cuse i didnt want to take it off.

it is a pain and i droped the socket in hard to reach places, probably spent just as much time getting the socket out as it would have been to take the bumper off.

so did you get the halos on yet?
lets see them...
